It's the attitude they lack, and it comes from the top down. They have the manpower and they have more than enough money. What excuse can you use for CDPR, a company that three years later is still topping the Steam sales charts for TW3, not giving a enough of a shit to patch its broken Xbox One X port of the game? Or Bethesda who seems very happy to port Skyrim to every platform that exists, and says that bugs are an intrinsic part of the experience, so it won't fix any that still linger years after its initial release. It happens all the time with plenty of games that have game breaking bugs / performance issues ect that never get fixed, even after their so called GoTY editions, so the community steps up and does it.

Who said anything about working for free? There's a problem in the industry of "ship it and forget it".

However, it's more than likely that you have at some point spotted the amount of complaints Windows 10 users have about the game, or maybe you have encountered crashes yourself. This game, which shares a lot of the internals with GTA games, performs fairly well in its PC incarnation as is.
